And thanks to pharmaceutical shortages, I’m unable to get a medication that I’ve been taking for seventeen years. Pharmacy could only get me half of what I usually get and no other pharmacy has it in stock. No idea whether it’s a temporary shortage or not.

Everything that's wrong with our nation. Everything that's broken. Everything that's corrupted. Started with her.

Husband gets a text over the weekend from the hospital telling him they’ve made an appointment for him to attend his MRI on his heart and to call to confirm. Thing is, they haven’t said WHEN the appointment is. And the number is currently constantly engaged (being a Monday morning, not unexpected) 🤨

#Strictly dance off prediction for me- Chris v Melanie. She doesn’t look like she’s having a good time at all. I’m still not all in for this season’s line up. I thought the presenting was better and less chaotic. I do like Lacey & Vito, Jamie and Carlos are a lot of fun too but not warming to Cach

I’ve given up trying to get my autistic, severely learning disabled son on the list to be called up for a flu vaccination. He was, after my constant enquiries, placed on the Covid vaxx list because of said vulnerabilities back then (a whole ‘nother story that one!)

You’d think that if you’re going to drop an entire season of a show onto your streaming service, you’d at least have all the episodes available? Well apparently in the case of Disney+ and season 23 of NCIS (finally) this does not seem to be the case, it would seem every other episode is missing 🤨

So will City’s punishment be a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again or something more substantial I wonder?

Fab! A new series of Sam and Ade Go Birding airs from next Thursday on Channel 5 at 7pm. Absolutely adored the first series, it does for birding what Mortimer and Whitehouse does for fishing (which is one of my husband’s all time favourite shows)

Only I would end up getting a paper cut on the pad of my index finger from a blister packet while popping my meds. Also, putting a bath bomb in my son’s bath last night and said paper cut coming into contact with said bath bomb. Holy shit!! 😧😖 (Ouch is an understatement)

I’m still not completely convinced by Josh W being part of #Strictly but I suppose I’ll get used to him. Liked how the pairings were done a lot more than I thought I would. Some interesting combinations there and I look forward to erring how they’ll do in the ensuing weeks #Strictly

Reminds me of the time my son got his boosters at around the same age. The doctor gave him his first jab, my son opened his mouth to yell, doc popped a chocolate button in his mouth & he was so surprised by it that he didn’t even feel the second one go in (& yes he gave him a second one for bravery)

Just finished the latest in the DI Ben Kitto series, ‘The Mermaid’s Cry’ by the fantastic Kate Rhodes. The Queen of Misdirect, yet again I didn’t quite guess the culprit though I *was* closer than its predecessor ‘Deadman’s Pool’ I hope there will be more in the series. Such an underrated series!

Tidied up my son’s book shelves this afternoon. He inherited all of his sister’s picture books as well as accumulating his own collection and literally has no more space for books. Not that it’s stopped him acquiring more books (like mother like son) #ASD #SLD

In another universe my son would have a job, hopefully something he loves. He’d have maybe met the love of his life, living together, perhaps a couple of kids. In this universe and through no fault of his own he has autism and severe learning disabilities and none of that is possible.
