Meanwhile, my Duolingo streak is just over 1900 days at this point. I can maintain habits once I get them going, but the hardest part is getting them started. Same reason I haven’t been able to get back on the workout and diet train despite having a very successful run of it back in 2014.

Everything went smoothly. Three smaller polyps that look benign (pending pathology obviously). Zero memory of anything. Return in five years. About as good as I could have hoped for. Huge weight off my mind. Whew. Gonna get food now and enjoy my day off work.

Downed the second dose of the prep about an hour ago. This one was much harder than the first, mostly because my body was pulling up bad memories. Took me a half hour to down it rather than the minute I did the first one in.

Okay. So I didn’t think this was going to help as much as it did but the Jello (despite me being tired of lime flavor) is really tamping down the hunger! I figured my body would just register it as “ugh yet more liquid” but it’s definitely making my hollow stomach feel better!

A bowl full of a prepared family sized pack of lime Jello. About a third of it has been eaten, a spoon resting in the empty space.

Five bathroom visits so far (they got less intense after the first two) and I haven’t even done the second half of the prep yet. The hunger is really what’s been the worst so far really though. I’m normally a voluminous liquid drinker but at this point my body doesn’t want anything fluid put in me.

We’ve had two more visits since that post. Many hours to go though… Just had some chicken bouillon and the heat and salt have ALMOST tricked my brain into thinking I’ve had actual food. Very comforting though. May try to take a small nap but I’m paranoid (sleep farts).
