This is the thing for me The TPU and it's associated ilk don't want Aotearoa to be an inclusive broadly socialist society And yet most folk who live here - live here precisely because we are a broadly socialist society So instead of just leaving the TPU are trying to break our society

For those in the back: The total amount the New Zealand government has spent on all historical Waitangi Tribunal settlements over the last 30+ years is less than the cost of a single year of the 2024 tax cuts for Landlords.

Aotearoa’s government-funded school lunches failing nutrition standards
A new analysis reveals that school lunches from the major provider, the School Lunch Collective, fail to meet nutritional standards and provide only half the expected energy for a school meal.

“What can I do to lower the risk of catching it? Vaccination is recommended for everyone over the age of six months.” So making it less accessible is a serious and reprehensible act by the Government. The epidemic is on them imo. The overcrowding of hospitals and unnecessary deaths. They are Boris.

But, look, it's motonormativity in action: he views the cars as natural and the bike lane as an unwelcome intrusion, so although the big boxes of metal take up the most space, move the fastest, add to noise pollution, and create the biggest hazards, he's upset about the people on bikes

Middlemore has always been a bellwether for the wider system. Previous ED targets had some impact due to frontline driven improvements, relatively high staff morale and supported with additional resources. These are not the conditions currently. #nzpol www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/auckland/...

Not really that complicated, once you understand the steps. Although, like many techniques, not recomended for first use in something like this case. Minimises any overshoot. (Also ml/hr with the modelling still running is really good for teaching & illustrating the magic of TCI)

Ross Kennedy @rrk310.bsky.social · 08/08/2026
OK, I’ll play. A-line, peripheral norad running, remi TCI at 1-1.5, propofol set up in TCI mode but run at 100ml/hr, reducing to 50-70ml/hr @LOC (probably around 1-1.5ng effect site), 50 roc & flip the propofol pump to TCI mode at whatever target we’re at. (pre remi & tci, maybe slow sevo inhal)

In a mirror your eyes are focusing on the object in the distance, so no real shift from looking ahead. For a screen you’ll need to refocus at the (quite close) distance to the digital mirror
