People on Twitter mentioned not having a lot of money, but I have over 100,000 thanks to Paralogues. Maybe I'm just not realizing that there are things worth spending on aside from arena, meals, and theater. #FireEmblemFortunesWeave #FEFW

Trying to figure out what build I like for each character. Might just do the obvious advanced classes for Cai, Tialla, and Peter, but I wanna get unique with the others. #FireEmblemFortunesWeave #FEFW

I like the turn count system for exploration over Three Houses' activity points for sure. Feels like you have more freedom, but you do end up with a lot of slack after you've finished the quests for the chapter.

Erzel/Roy 🎼 @royfarrite.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Gameplay wise, I enjoy the busy work of quests, training, and recruitment to an extent. But maybe it's just because I'm so used to how it was in Three Houses, but it feels more tedious, particularly the recruitment.

Thematically, the things he learns as he grows up throughout his route are things that I had to grapple with myself. A lot of them hit me pretty hard, especially the part about how your pursuit of your own desires inevitably tramples upon others' pursuits.

Started Fortune's Weave with Cai's route, just like I decided when the game was first revealed. He really does feel like a great starting point to explore this world, especially with how he's revealed to be related to its core elements.

Thinking about dumping my thoughts on Fortune's Weave here as well as on Twitter. Already got a loaded thread over there, so maybe I'll summarize it here.

Been having a lot of fun with Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. It's certainly not without its flaws, but I'm enjoying it too much to care about those flaws.

Only a few days until Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave comes out. Just need to get through the work week.

I promised myself I'd spend most of my time working on music this summer, and it's safe to say I did my best. Wrote some decent stuff, but now I need to finish all of them.

Here's the instrumental break from Automaton by Intervals. Pretty proud of figuring this one out, even though it technically took 12-ish years.

Recorded two guitar playing videos today. Still not entirely sure why I'm doing this. Maybe I just want to get used to it? Anyway, here's me playing the F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. riff.

The entire video game industry is no stranger to anti-consumer practices, but requiring 2 active PlayStation Plus subscriptions for couch co-op is truly some next-level nonsense.

Yesterday I bought the recently released Epiphone Les Paul Special Double Cutaway (the HH one) in Ocean Water, and it is so close to perfect. If they had put the strap button on the upper horn instead of the neck joint, it would be a 10/10.

No artistic choice in Frieren S2 #8 is too radical to fit the modern blockbuster canon, it's got Iwazawa-isms as the action director, and certainly Kouki Fujimoto's attention to weight & body motion. What elevates it is the accumulation of all those approaches into a diverse yet easy-to-follow fight

Under Minnesota felony murder, all the agents beating the crap out of the victim are potentially guilty of murder, given they were committing the crime of assault.

12 shots. The final six are fired by an agent backing away from the man on the ground. This is horrific to watch but it needs to be seen to understand the context of what's happening in Minneapolis and what will happen in other cities.

Ueno has already commented on the wide framing as a means to increase the solitude for the participants in the death game - small, and made to fetch for themselves even when there are other people there. In his view, the black bars also become physical pressure in such a stressful scenario

What if they made a show about how capitalism doesn't just cause harm, but relishes the opportunity to kill, making a spectacle of it for a cruel ruling class? What if it was directed by the biggest arthouse weirdo who has risen within the industry recently? What if Souta Ueno's Shiboyugi was real?

An article: “Younger Generations Are Romanticizing the ‘Millennial Optimism Era’ on TikTok.” “Raise your mustache-tattooed hand if you want to go back to the early 2010s.” It's by Joanna Sommer on December 9, 2025 4:43 pm EST.

A person mid-dance in a cozy, decorated room. They are dressed in twee ish fashion wearing a black jacket, graphic T-shirt, grey scarf, short skirt, sheer tights, and knee-high socks. Text reads, “optimistic millennial style <3.”
