For the first time since 2014, a British Prime Minister has accepted that a referendum should take place when there is majority support for independence, as is the case in Northern Ireland. I have written to him to discuss how we turn that principle into a legal mechanism.

The current level of child poverty in Scotland is 22% and falling, whilst in England it’s 31% and rising. Child poverty levels are lower in Scotland than they were a decade ago. England is misgoverned.
