i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward

Yeah that’s true it’s not bad to have some but I don’t need it to be the only thing I can find on the website 🤣

I know a few folks are excited for #silenthilltownfall tomorrow, so: presenting my trip to St. Monans, Scotland a few months ago, the very real place that St. Amelia from the new game is based on. (Excuse the picture of me; the wind blowing in my face doesn't help me look photogenic!) #silenthill

Not that I wanna compare those two peoples movies more that they’re not cis white dudes and I’ve heard people say this about them making movies about themselves

consider: Schoenbrun is at least making movies about a self we haven’t heard from much, and irs funny that ppl only say this about ppl like schoenbrun and sofia Coppola and not about like any cis white director director

It's crazy how I never learned in school that the existence of the Fugitive Slave Act alone totally discredits the idea that the South actually principlely cared about state's rights.

100% like I wanna know: your address, opening hours, menu items (including if it suits my dietary requirements) and prices I don’t need to know: your life story, a bunch of pictures of the interior of the restaurant, or any of that other stuff

I truly, deeply, sincerely do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonalds should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That's kind of the whole point of having a job and I can't believe this is considered a radical position.🤷🏽‍♀️

that’s the most boring and tiresome reason, imma need everyone ever to learn the distinction between “I don’t personally enjoy this” and “this shouldn’t exist” and go back to the kiddie table where I don’t have to hear from them until they do

The AI industry wants you to say "the AI just did that thing on its own!" Like, United Health's AI that's denying a shitload of claims with a 90% error rate? They wanted you to think it's just the AI.

absolutely agree, the collectible thing is what has pretty much had me give up on magic in particular unless I’m playing like a draft game with friends. Would rather play something like dominion or smash up where you have a limited pool of all the same cards to mutually choose from

I just like don’t understand why someone would look at Facebook, instagram and threads and say “yeah I wanna put this in charge of my life tasks” They keep advertising this muse thing to me and I just wanna see my friends cat pictures or whatever

accurate but that can be a good thing (they usually had style and charm, despite being murderers)
