One feedback that I got on Tourbillon is that it's weird that diamonds give you speed. What collectible item could I use instead that would make more sense? It's functionally like a boost panel, but I need a floating object for gameplay reasons.

Finally settled on a design for the main character!! The trickiest part was finding a rig setup that's flexible, easy to use, support bending arms and compatible with #Godot. Now, I still suck at lighting but that's another issue. Do you prefer with the visor ON or OFF?

learning 3D is HARD but it feels like I'm slowly finding an art style simple enough for quick iteration. I'm leaning a lot on gradients, transparent billboards, mesh deformation via shader and repetition. Still don't like the trees and the sky in this pic though
