Kenney Shape is now FREE! (and it'll remain free, forever) ✨ Previously a paid tool, I'm releasing it as a gift to the community. Today's update will be the final one, with no further updates planned. That way I can focus on new software & projects! kenney.itch.io/kenney-shape

Back to my original plan, I will be closing my commissions anyway tomorrow after all! Last call to grab one! (I don't have a specific date of when I will be opening them back up yet, probably around mid-November or early December if I can)

here's some more unsolicited advice from yours truly IN zine form. longposter.neocities.org/zineonzine.pdf please make a zine.

hi. welcome to my zine about making and distributing zines.
specifically essay zines. we will discuss:
+ how to generate ideas for zines
+ tips for writing essays
+ how to build an audience for your zines
+ a peek into my process for shipping and fulfilling zine orders
this is adapted from a series of articles i’ve written over the past
years and a talk i gave at fanworks con 2023. i won’t talk about the
details of actually making a zine (like folding paper, binding, or
software) because i don’t think i have that much special expertise
on that topic. i mean look at this booklet. but i am confident that i
can give you some food for thought on the topics above. let’s go.

Something AI is responsible for that doesn't get enough talk: How, when it scrapes a website to illegally steal everything on it, it uses up a ton of its bandwidth allotment, crashing it or racking up massive fees for site owners.

oh god i just noticed the shitfuckery going on with clip studio assets. it looks like maybe they got leaned on to delete nsfw poses and stuff, and it led to mass deletions of basically any kind of couple pose. even very chaste, cute, nonsexual couple poses i have in my library are all deleted

good general internet safety reminder: double check the profile of whoever is messaging you! if the writing style feels off, if there's no DM history when there SHOULD be old messages, or if it feels like an "emergency", there's a good chance it's a scammer ✌
