[ oh gentle eye of the storm ] #wardeneater #sinsent #voidboundau

a background and succession of images showing zero struggling with exhaustion and over stimulation by virtue of the void's environment and her own abundance of dark creating a ceaseless onslaught of energy and sensation at all times. her one visible eye squints against it under her hood, mouth pursing in an attempt to focus

the oppressive atmosphere recedes as we zoom out to see cyma sitting on a rock beside where zero stands, their sword held loosely at their side as they touch her elbow. a close up cut in shows them drawing her closer by that elbow, laying their giant flat broadsword across their lap

cyma draws zero to sit on their sword's blade, an arm coming around to support her as she looks back at them, surprised but not resistant, their look seeming to encourage her to rest in the small microcosm of quiet their aura of stasis provides in this maelstrom

zero relaxes back against their shoulder, eye drifting shut already, a small smile on her blood stained lips, welcoming the first rest she's had since coming back to the 13th. As always, only possible against their silent stone chest

Jewelry of the Steppe; a collection of Xaela hcs (free to use)

an image of some sketched scaled hands and jewelry, some silver some bronze, with text saying "Jewelry of the Steppe. Au ra of the Steppe receive two sets of jewelry from their tribe. One craftedd of bronze during childhood, to form habit and familiarity. The second in silver, gifted upon reaching adulthood and taking their place in the tribe. From there, the set expands over a lifetime, for achievement, growth and style."

second slide, this one with various sketched heads, focus on their horns and the embelishments in and on them. "Horn piercings. Horn adornment is especially favored for its innumerable unique fashions. These piercings serve as much therapeutic (with an asterisk) and spiritual significance as they might aesthetic. (asterisk addition: a stud in the right place can relieve pressures and tensions in the head). How one is pierced can effect horn growth, shape and hearing quality, so is best ddone by a trained artist, accounting for each individuals' needs and horn type."

third slide, with outlines and impressions of various stones and raw metals. "Crafting Materials. The silver represents the light of Nhaama's realm, of moon and star, highlighted against richly dark Xaela scales like Her dusk skies. The first set of adult jewelry is inlaid with a material chosen by an elder, master or caregiver to represent and aid the receiver. Examples: amber to wish for preservation and longevity, agate for protection and healing, bone for resilience, ect."

forth slide, with sketches of scaled faces carrying studs and rings. "Additional. Most, if not all of these adornments hold cultural meaning, such as the facial piercing of the Qestir. Beneath their masks the Qestir practice a variety of face, neck and tongue piercings. In purifying metals and protective stones, these inlays defend tongues and throats from the lies the Qestir denounce, lending a weight and chill reminder of their convictions. Chances are-if you see silver on a Xaela of the Steppe-ther is history in even the smallest ring."

The funniest part of me liking Linhardt is that I first thought he was a girl just based on his face. But then Edelgard introduced him to me, she called him "he" and I was like "wait, HE??". I then liked him immediately for that 😭

Some of you have forgotten that only three years ago you were perfectly capable of writing an essay, writing a eulogy, telling a bedtime story to a child, and it should worry you that powerful companies have convinced us we can’t do things we’ve been doing for 5,000 years.

i think the single most valuable skill to have on social media, especially when you have a lot of followers and post a lot, is the ability to accept being wrong with grace. apologize for your error, correct course going forward, keep it pushing. it really is that simple

May Bruno Kramm rest in peace, and power. Thank you for all you've done for this amazing music scene, and legendary band.

020

Dasha 🦇🌌 @rosendark.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I have donated to the GoFundMe of one of the band members, and I hope that I can still support the band now. I love their music so much, and I want to keep loving it. I want their legacy to live on. I will never forget them and all they did for me when I was young and struggling.

It's been a dream of mine to see Das Ich live and to take Cherry with me, but now that dream is gone with Kramm's loss.

110

Dasha 🦇🌌 @rosendark.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Das Ich saved me during a dark time when I was a teenager, their dark music was a comfort for me, and a huge source of my creative energy. They were and still are my muse and rose quickly to become one of my all time favourite bands.

110

Dasha 🦇🌌 @rosendark.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

I don't know anybody who also knows and likes the band Das Ich as much as I do, but I need to speak on them, to mourn. The founder, Bruno Kramm, a pioneer of the Neue Deutsche Todeskunst genre and of the German dark scene, passed today. I'm in shambles, I'm in denial, I'm deeply saddened.
