A loss of meaning, or an obsession with it? [oc Kurumi]

sketch drawing of my oc Kurumi, leaning over a desk in a defeated like pose. The page says "what am I doing this all for?"

Reminder: People enjoy games for different reasons. Also you cannot appeal to all of those reasons in one game.

With 120gsm paper you have to wonder if shading is worth it, as an eraser will obliterate the surface and anything you put down after.. (meant to encourage me to do MORE drawings of hands and focus less on finish) - refs from Mels Mneyan #drawing

Conversations with the girl at the pen and pencil shop have escalated to the token gift level. Technically just doing her job but while a repeat customer Im not exactly a high value prospect. Kinda hooked on the blackwing pencils tho

This is literally what people do when they're not left scrambling for survival every hour of every day. They build communities, create things, contribute. Wikipedia isn't an anomaly, it is a distillation of human nature itself

Took a lot of effort (to not get these poses in under 15 min) 🥵 And the further I went along the worse thjngs got.. (not shown!) what’s apparent is a good contour communicates form well enough. references - grafit studio #drawing

Trying more mixed gestural/constructive approach to quick figure sketches. Pinterest is getting more overrun - when I tried to save the references they no longer link to the image source but to an external commercial site not connected to the owner of the images @studiografit

I wish I could share a picture of tired but cheerful, ‘sometime’ music students; their forlorn youthful exhuberance rising like smashed little flowers in between the asphalt of ill-fitting intergenerational expectations.

That would be extremely painful (for you). Let’s presume he is talking from personal experience, and that those hours are actually productive hours; at what ‘sweet spot’ does regular libidinal drive give way to thanatos or death drive? I’d say ten continuous hours - either part time or full time

Brimming at the show, 'another rabbit in the headlights please'. Out of time but still visible, a figure from the past recognises me but maybe never again. On the couch I get a good view of all and sundry, and her mum. The chips were here before I came, but I'm about ready to join the predator class
