In the recent Alligator!Loki comics, #Loki went on a speed date with several people but not with #Sigyn of course ^^' So I commissioned the always lovely @steamedyams.bsky.social for a fan art of Loki and Sigyn meeting at that speed date ... Quite the emotional evening, I'm sure.

I hate how mainstream depicts #Sigyn. Marvel depicted S as an abused wife. BUT SHE IS NOT. Nowhere in the Eddas does Loki insult his wife. Too many NM retellers were inspired by Marvel's lies. Now she's being erased. Enough! This is Loki's Treasure. The Delight of his Hall. THE GODDESS OF VICTORY.

Been seven years since I first read this, on the English language's *completely universal but totally invisible* adjective hierarchy, and I can honestly say I've thought about it most days since.

Adjectives in English absolutely have to be in this order: opinion-size-shape-colour-origin-material-purpose Noun. So you da. Have a lovely little old rectangular green French silver whittling knife. But if you mess with that word order in the slightest you'll sound like a maniac. It's an odd thing that every English speaker uses that list, but almost none of us could write it out. And since since comes before colour, green great dragons can't exist."
- Mark Forsyth, quote from The Elements of Eloquence: How to turn the Perfect English Phrase

Reminder- using reference for art is NOT cheating. Depending on what type of artist you are, you should absolutely be using it. All highly skilled pro artists I know use it. Art isn't a party trick, we don't have to be in the business of impressing ppl with the process. Don't hold yourself back.
