I’m wondering if the dreaded EES might help flow at Ouistreham when it starts. You & your French passport are stuck behind the Brits getting stamped. EES may give a quick lane to EU/Residents not needing biometrics? Grim, I used to love rolling off the ferry to freedom 💔Bon courage, bonne route.

Yes, Iceland are an independent sovereign state. Who also happen to be in the Single Market, the EEA and the Schengen zone, with freedom of movement for people, goods and services. But if the UK did that I'd be screaming about Brexit betrayal and being an EU puppet.
