Fish isn't describing the tuna, tuna is describing what kind of fish. A fish sandwich could be any fish. A tuna fish sandwich is a specific thing. Also, tuna fish generally refers to the canned stuff, which is an entirely different flavor and texture, than a fillet of tuna.

I don't want that to ever happen again, it was so scary. In the moment I was thinking "I've got to get words out no matter what" and I think that I pushed too hard to get them out. I felt my lungs kinda give up. I've felt super freaking miserable since then, just randomly crying and shit.

I had a seizure today. Not a "black out on the floor" kind, I went to answer the phone and I could only make noise, couldn't control my breathing so I almost passed out. I could think clearly, but I was totally unable to speak other than noise. I snapped out of it quickly, but it was terrifying.

Palliative care was late because she got lost. Tried to avoid crying, mostly made it through. It helped that I was annoyed, actually. She's gonna put me in contact with a therapist that isn't the one I talked to last time. And we already scheduled for next time so I'm not being left with no support.

Welp. No biopsy. The stuff they were going to biopsy was the same stuff that blew itself out of that abscess I had. They looked at it and said there was nothing really there to biopsy. I was under the impression that they were taking it from my actual tumor. I got up at 6 AM for nothing 🙃

I still am supposed to be trying to wean myself off the steroids, apparently that's a big reason my legs have gotten weaker. Stopped and saw the nurse, too. Stomach is still kinda dicey, but better

I sorted my meds out for the week. Since I'm on two courses of antibiotics right now, I'll be taking 30 pills total tomorrow. That's ridiculous. And that's if I don't need anything for gas, acid reflux, or pain. ✌️ Better living through chemistry, I guess.

I was not productive today, but I really didn't have to be. My apartment is clean enough. There is a thing I would have liked to have worked on, but I didn't, and that's okay. I've pretty much just been in my friends' streams all day, and that's as good a place for me as any.

Sigh. Just realizing that this week is 100% gonna suck, and there's nothing I can really do about it. Starting new chemo tomorrow, gotta go find out about my brain on Tuesday and then get a colon biopsy on Wednesday first thing in the freaking morning. Ughhhhh. Gonna try and make the best of it.

Got many things accomplished today, feeling pretty good! Hopefully I can have another day like this tomorrow. I start my new chemo pills on Monday, and apparently they're pretty rough on folks at higher doses, so I don't want to leave anything important undone in case they wipe me out.
