Was also v proximal to a lot of military stuff growing up. We lived right by the Air Force Academy and one time toured a Lockheed Martin facility where they were making stuff to send to space, which was v cool as a 7th grader.

In Colorado, we went to historical re-enactment sites to pan for gold, visited the Cliff Dwellings in Mesa Verde National Park, went to the top of Pikes Peak, and camped at the Great Sand Dunes. Lots of time in nature and learning about Native history, which was super cool as a kid.

Charcoal embers cooling deep in the hearth. Molten metal fresh from the forge, ready for smithing. Ash and soot. The first distant birdsong on a grey morning. #romulore

A scene I've thought of at length but not yet written about in my wip Vault fic, certainly longer than six sentences. Wolmeric circles me like a shark dude. #sixsentencesaturday #wolmeric #Romulore #ffxiv #heavensward

So far the only person Romulus has canonically had sex with is Raubahn, toward the end of ARR. The two have a close, trusting relationship still, but they will always be brothers in arms first. This is a snippet from my notes from over a year ago: #wolqotd #Romulore

Gently tapping the sign that characters are not people; they are collections of words and ideas and will be treated as such

its my birthday so im impulse posting my somewhat unfinished romeric art #myart #wolmeric #ffxiv

digital fanart piece depicting aymeric de borel of ffxiv and a male xaela warrior of light, Romulus, with long dark hair with orange tips pulled back in a ponytail. romulus gently tilts aymeric’s chin up toward him with scarred fingers and the two share a fond look. they are lit softly with desaturated colors

Shipping wol with aymeric is crazy a little bit bc not only do we kill his bio father who turned himself into a primal but we also kill his god too and he still worships the ground we walk on. Wild stuff.

re: wealth- he travels extremely light and has no money to his name. he left it all behind when he left home and has had no time to re-accumulate in all the strife. i think post stb is the first time he even considered “settling” somewhere, but now he’s in a whole nother reality (i just started shb)

When his father sold them out to the Garleans, Rom killed him and ran. He hasn’t seen his mother since. #Romulore

Romulus’ father was a master swordsmith and samurai who taught Rom to wield a sword from a young age, but treated him as just another tool in his workshop. His mother was born of the Mol clan and blessed with visions, her head in far off clouds.
