My entry for this year’s @jayvikbigbang.bsky.social If you feel in the mood for a Beauty and the Beast AU, look no further! #jayvikrbb2026 #jayvik Huge thanks to the artist @mora-sprite.bsky.social and the beta reader @romaning.bsky.social archiveofourown.org/works/938519...

Evermore
By Verity_Wordsworth

Summary:
Jayce Talis works as a blacksmith in a small, isolated village, but deep down he holds the wild dream of bringing the lost art of Hextech back into the world.
When he and his mother get lost into a magical storm on the way to the Distinguished Innovators Competitions, Jayce will come upon a mysterious mansion and its unusual inhabitants.
When he's forced to promise his life to the monstrous Herald to save his mother, does it mean his dreams are over? And what's the truth behind the Herald and the curse that was cast upon him and the cities of Piltover and Zaun 150 years ago?
Beauty and the Beast AU written for the Jayvik Reverse Big Bang 2026.

#arcane #jayvik also major arcane spoilers🫵 . . . 'You were my new dream' or however the fuck that scene went

a painting of jayce and viktor in the astral plane(or whatever that was). jayce is embracing viktor from behind, his head resting on his neck and his hands on his chest. where he touches viktor is glowing gold. viktor looks on the verge of tears, of both sadness and happiness. his expression is bittersweet, and his fingers are threaded through jayce's and pressed to his chest. their hair is glowing white ish and their bodies are covered in a rainbow oil spill effect. a blue blanket envelops them and flows out behind them. the background is black and full of stars. there are a few threads of gold throughout.

The third panel shows Jayce talking while smiling shyly, looking at a pregnancy test on his right hand, scratching the back of his head with the other.
The fourth panel shows Jayce looking up and Mel and Viktor (off frame) smiling widely while nodding his head.
The fifth panel shows Mel and Jayce gasping, with tears in their eyes.
The last panel shows Viktor and Mel tackling Jayce on a hug, he is smiling with tears on his eyes, arms extended and the pregnancy test is turned, showing its positive.

here is a rough sketch and some notes with Viktor's transformation process (BTW, HE CAN TRANSFORM WITH CLOTHES ON, Hex can go over clothes. Viktor does NOT have to be naked for this! I just drew him naked because...)

Sheet with various sketches of Viktor's bust from the waist up showing the steps of transformation.

Sketch 1:
- This does not hurt Viktor, "tickles" maybe
- "sprouts" any where on body but mostly likes back/spine

Sketch 2:
- EXACTLY like Venom (can go over clothes).....but I made him naked for now
- Can also just alter some (specific) body parts (also should not stay in transformed state too long) risk of Arcane mania

Sketch 3:
- 5'8 to 6'5?
- Pushes hair back
- Does NOT split face
- no nipple

Leg sketch:
- Temp healing in leg granted (also for back and all illnesses) in full form, but cannot stay in too long or else loses sense of self (Taken over by Arcane (Hex))

Page 1
A week later.
We see Viktor dancing in a series of poses on the ground. His gaze is drawn to the right.
V: Are you coming in this time? Or running away like last time?
He wears high-waisted tights with a light t-shirt. He also still wears his compression gloves and soft knee brace. He has his hair in a little ponytail.

Page 2
A hand pushes the door with a clack. Jayce enters the room.
J: I... I'm sorry
Viktor stretches.
V: What are you doing here Mister Talis Jayce shrugs
J: Jayce is fine. I'm not sure to be honest. My friend Mel sent me here. Jayce wears a striped sweater and always seems deeply depressed

Page 3
J : … And you ? What is Viktor Reveck doing here, in Paris ?
Viktor is smirking a bit, resting his chin on his hand
V : Eh. Sometimes I teach. But mostly I’m looking for something. And not finding it.
J : And what are you looking for ?
Viktor is sitting on the floor, with one leg bent and his hands behind him. He looks in the distance.
V : good question
