The first time Charlie Chaplin used his voice in a film, he wielded it to forcefully condemn the rising forces of fascism around the globe. Will we listen to his words today?

Enjoy !

I N O I S E W H E R E I S H O U L D BE I a reflection on identity blurred, thoughts fractured, and the violence of internal chaos. Abstract expressionism as a scream on canvas. - The Asylum Art - Art and words by Yves #Art #AbstractExpressionism #abstract #blueskyart #VisualPoetry

Noise Where I Should Be” is a stark abstract expressionist work featuring a solitary black silhouette dissolving into violent, jagged black strokes where the head should be. Against a white void, the figure’s anonymity and disintegration symbolize the internal conflict of self-erasure, anxiety, and identity fragmentation. The scratched-out head conveys a visceral sense of mental overload, a cry without sound, embodying the unseen struggle between presence and disappearance. Minimalist in form but maximal in emotion, it invites the viewer to witness the violence of thought turned inward.
