Renee Good’s family sued the U.S. government and several immigration officials Thursday, alleging wrongful death and other violations of federal law.

A 36-year-old immigrant from Costa Rica died last week in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody, according to an agency notification sent to lawmakers on Monday.

Critics call it a death panel for Social Security. The GOP called it “America's Fiscal Future.”

They said DHS's use of personal data to access voting records is "a political exercise that poses risks to national security."

The reported threat comes as federal agencies devote increasing resources to investigations of possible noncitizen voting, which is exceptionally rare.
