robyn @robynie.com · 27/09/2026I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: the baby carriage makes it *weird* 200
robyn @robynie.com · 18/09/2026metal scraps covered in moss has landed in New Zealand! I’m so excited to play! @travisdhill.bsky.social 271
robyn @robynie.com · 01/08/2026making good progress converting this book into junk journal (volume 2 forthcoming!). I’m tearing out every third page and then glueing the two surrounding pages together in order to make room for the junk. it’s slow but I think it will be a fun aesthetic problem to solve with my journaling. 130
robyn @robynie.com · 17/04/2025Went to Auckland Botanic Gardens last weekend and the weather was lovely for it (opposite of this weekend it seems) but also super sunny and not good for photos. It did spark some ideas for my own garden though! I like the African and rock gardens best. 060
robyn @robynie.com · 18/03/2025I feel like I’ve been especially busy lately, but at the same time haven’t done anything noteworthy. 010
robyn @robynie.com · 05/03/2025I’ve got a fair amount of purple sage but I’m also enjoying this white sage 🇳🇿🌱 030
robyn @robynie.com · 02/03/2025My Leucojum autumnale bulbs popped right up while I was out of town! So cute! 🇳🇿🌱 050
robyn @robynie.com · 16/02/2025Daphne has the cutest, teeniest flowers coming in 🥺 I’ve noticed recently my current phone doesn’t do very well with close ups, which is a bit disappointing at times. 🇳🇿🌱 030
robyn @robynie.com · 06/02/2025There are a few patches of the garden which are so charmingly overgrown and perfect… why can’t it all look like this? 🇳🇿🌱 070
robyn @robynie.com · 02/02/2025Quilt update: I’ve completed four more blocks in the past week, but “completed” isn’t really the right word as they are each in six pieces…. I could sew the halves together, but I wanted to get a feel for the project before tackling matching all those points! #quiltsky #wip 4241

robyn @robynie.com · 26/01/2025I planted a significant quantity of rain lily (Zephyranthes candida) bulbs in July-ish(?) to try to fill this gap, but they haven’t done much until I noticed this cutie peeping out from under the wormwood. 🇳🇿🌱 280
robyn @robynie.com · 25/01/2025I’m not normally a repeating block kind of guy, but lately I’ve been wanting a project I can chip away at without much thinking (and to use up some scraps). These blocks interlock with their neighbors so some organization to keep the associated pieces together will be required… #quilting ✂️ 1210
robyn @robynie.com · 19/01/2025Started wild bergamot (Monarda fistulosa) this year and it’s doing well, though the larger bumblebees seem a little confused what to do with this flower shape. Yummy pizza flavored leaves for us humans! 🇳🇿🌱 040
robyn @robynie.com · 15/01/2025This blossom on ‘Ryan C’ seems to have realized this is a goth garden… is there a special name for an anomalous flower that looks different than the rest on the same plant? 041
robyn @robynie.com · 10/01/2025The last of the dahlias to start blooming, despite being in what I thought was the superior garden position 🤔 ‘Glenbank Joy’ 🇳🇿🌱 050
robyn @robynie.com · 06/01/2025A volunteer in my garden I’d like to identify… Spleenwort hybrid perhaps? #NZPlants 120
