Yeah, makes sense 💙 change is needed and will probably be good, but there's always that fear it will be worse orz

020

Roro @robotjellyfish.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Yeah, being close to mum will be good, but change is scary 😨 I think part of it is the idea of moving too and the chaos that entails. I have a lot of junk 😅

Roro @robotjellyfish.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

Why is this sort of thing so scary?

200

Roro @robotjellyfish.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

I very much want to get a new job and move back to Wales etc but the anxiety I feel when one I've applied to with any sort of interest is so not it 😅

Roro @robotjellyfish.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Honestly when I've actually sold stuff it's not been too bad, its the people that pull stuff like this i want to throttle so rude and a waste of time 🙄 like if they'd at least said sorry or given some reason for ghosting after the first offer I might have given a bit but literally nothing

110

Roro @robotjellyfish.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I do not understand people on vented who make an offer saying 'I'll buy it right away' only to ghost uou when you accept AND THEN make another, lower offer 2 months later with absolutely no explanation or even a sorry as to why they never took up the original offer

A new feline species has been discovered in the cloud forests of Bolivia! It was named Leopardus tilcayo, or the Tilcayo tiger cat. I'm so excited for this little kitty! Have a fanart | #tilcayo #cats #feralart #art #digitalart #Leopardus_tilcayo #Leopardustilcayo |

I drew the new weird cat

Cutesy drawing of a Leopardus tilcayo loafing with its tongue poking out. A short phrase in spanish wraps around its back: un michi tilcayo! (a tilcayo kitty!)

I have spent weeks shadowing the RNLI and I can tell you, they do it out of nothing more than compassion. Wrote about the heroes I've met over the years in this free-to-read post. nicolakelly.substack.com/p/the-rnli-a...

how about some good news: new cat just dropped!!!!

a photo of a small, spotted wild cat, with orange fur and brown circular markings, staring up with big golden eyes.

Meet the First New Cat Species Discovered in 100 Years

A small, spotted tiger cat from Bolivia may just be the beginning of a wave of new small cat species.

This 10-year-old male tiger cat is the first of his species (named Leopardus tilcayo) known to science. He is approximately 18 inches from head to end of body and weighs only 3 pounds, making him smaller than the average domestic cat. This video was captured at the Senda Verde Animal Refuge in Bolivia’s Yungas region, where he currently resides.

this is a common question and the answer is that a lot of companies actually do track piracy numbers when it comes to gauging interest in an IP so if you really want to send the message that Harry Potter is toxic: no, you should not pirate it either

RIP Dolly Parton.

Never met her, never interviewed her (despite decades of unrequited requests) but thought she was utterly fabulous in every way.
