The sequels for sure, but there was some horror elements in the first Resident Evil movie… On the point of action though, the fourth and fifth films had some pretty fun action, if nothing else. 💁‍♂️

Last four watched… -‘Fantastic Four: First Steps' (2025) -'Fantastic Four' (2015) -'All Night Long' (1962) -'The Blue Lamp' (1950) One fantastic four; one decidedly mediocre; and two brilliant Basil Dearden classics. Patrick McGoohan's performance in 'All Night Long' is a corker, as he’s so vile.

Kim Jee-woon saw the most effective musical scene in ‘Kill Bill’- The Santa Esmeralda extended intro of “Don’t let me me misunderstand”, and said- ‘F*ck it! Let’s just do that but a whole-ass balls to the wall action sequence’. 👍

‘Freeze Me’ is messed up, but also so funny!- The scene where she covers the guy with the shower curtain, then she hits him with a hammer, freaks out about the blood, attempts to tape the shower curtain around his head, and he starts strangling her as he’s dying- That’s ridiculousness right there. 😂

I have a DVD combo of ‘Capote’ and ‘In Cold Blood’, and while it’s certainly worth watching once, ‘Capote’ was, in my opinion, the lesser of the two, and a bit overblown- I’d trash ‘Capote’, and watch… ‘Captain America new… Something’- The newest one. Might be fun. 👍
