I finally saw "Obsession" tonight and I really, REALLY liked it. Great characters, eerie atmosphere, and Inde Navarrette as WishNikki is both creepy and tragic. Would recommend.

That all said, the silver lining to this was not only the support that I got from my vendor-neighbours and the staff I reported the incident to, but that as I was packing up, a polite young man came and bought a copy of Olivia@Zero. What a fella!

This isn't the first time I've had someone talk up programs like ChatGPT or Sora to me at an event, but it Was the first time someone with AI Brain refused to take "I'm Not Interested In Using AI for Personal And Ethical Reasons" for an answer. Things got heated and I had to tell him to leave.

100 or more people marched and rallied against OpenAI in Manhattan today during Climate Week! High five to R.A.D. Collective NYC, Planet Over Profit, Climate Defenders, and the other organizers.

Marchers cross the street shouting and carrying a banner reading "UNPLUG AI FOR A LIVEABLE PLANET." Other signs read "UNPLUG AI" and feature a red circular cross-out line over "AI DATA CENTERS." About a half block of people receding into the background across the street.
