Maybe I'm overthinking this. But I'd be interesting to know how the internal Konami dev teams handled it, e.g. whether staff from the original arcade team got brought in for the PS2 port and then maybe made little tweaks so that it plays better with the Dualshock, etc.

With which controller are you playing this? I always feel that with those arcade/shmups console ports it lacks the proper interface to be able to play how it's supposed to be played (not with a Dualshock, presumably?).

Das Computermuseum in Kautzen oder das Gamingmuseum in Wien und Kärnten z.B. würden sich bestimmt darüber freuen. Ich hab schon vor längerer Zeit aufgehört, privat Computer zu besitzen/sammeln - zu viel Hassle. Aber grundsätzlich sind sie natürlich toll!

Thanks! It's baffling to me that I've never heard of this plant in Salzburg before although I live and work in Austria. Will be interesting to see now whether boutique manufacturers will pivot to PC releases. Would be the most logical choice.
