Maybe the Sounders should buy that golf course that just got its own light rail station….

I've said it before but: keeping Bicycle Weekends confined to a bunch of limited hours on random weekends was framed as a "compromise", and now we can see that was clearly a strategy for keeping the city from realizing what a tremendous community benefit this program provides in its fuller form.

NEW: A serious staffing shortage — of the Trump admin's own making — is delaying the agency's ability to send billions to universities around the country, leaving labs reeling in the meantime. “I thought we were at rock bottom”, a senior NIH official said. “We are below rock bottom now.”

NIH staffing shortage could slash number of new grants issued this year

Some units at the US funding giant are so understaffed, they are focusing on mandated grant renewals rather than new awards.

I use miniui it’s nice and simple and is nice and minimal. My other recommendation is just put a few games on it. Too many games and you spend all your time scrolling rather than playing.

Recognizing that all author contracts are different. Generally when someone buys a discounted sale ebook, from Amazon or Barnes and noble, does the author get hurt on royalties, payment? Starter Villain was discounted this week, if I bought it on sale, did you make any money on it?

Check out “the week” magazine. It’s basically an executive summary of the news.

I think the Seahawks should build a new stadium in Bellevue or Renton, because they shouldnt be playing in the Sounders Soccer stadium, they deserve their own NFL specific stadium.

My now wife, was really annoyed by my reading parts of that book out loud on a romantic cruise we took together…. (I might not be the sharpest tool in the box).

Its rights situation is a bit weird. Per the NYtimes, the author still has the ebook and self publishes it, and audio book rights. But a big 5 publisher has the hardcover/second paperback, (the first published paperbacks go for crazy amounts now). Other languages big 5 as well? archive.ph/uTn7W

Know your rights. Protect your neighbors. New York is — and always will be — a city for all immigrants.

Try the “rosey retrospection” OG GB rom mod. I prefer 1.2 over the colorized 1.3. Tetris DX for GBC is ok, but the mod retro Tetris is better at faster speeds. The Disney magical Tetris games have some fun add ons. If you have a switch, the Tetris forever package is great.

I always enjoyed Paglia because of her salty take on religion. (I’m a preachers kid from the midwest). But I’m super weak on feminism and gender so pointers to interesting fun stuff is always appreciated.
