yesterday holly put on some "cat tv" videos up for vinnie and sunny, and vinnie quickly realised that sunny not giving a shit about personal space doesn't stop at people.

vinnie the ginger moggy and sunny the calico kitten are watching a video on tv that features birds, squirrels etc. sunny is climbing on vinnie's back to get a better viewing angle.

i would've used vinted to sell off a load of old books and comics a lot quicker than i have done if i'd known they'd sell as quickly as they have

Rob Crypt @robcryptx.bsky.social · 21/02/2025

when we first got sunny i looked into some stereotypes for calico girls and the most consistent ones were "divas who don't understand personal space" and i have no idea what they were talking about

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce that tapir Yuna gave birth to a rare and endangered Malayan tapir calf Sunday night. The newborn, covered in distinctive white spots and stripes resembling a fuzzy walking watermelon, is only the second tapir born in our 120-year history.

quick one for the comic book community. at work we're looking to bulk up our graphic novel section, particularly works outside of the marvel/dc range. we're working on a list but we have a lot of space to fill. what titles do you think it would be embarrassing for a bookstore to not have in stock?

Rob Crypt @robcryptx.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

When we say that our society doesn't value art, it isn't a vague statement about appreciation, it's a very literal statement about money. You need money to survive and art is deiberately made unable to produce it.

so surely if someone votes for you, and then they get murdered, it's a major sign of your innocence, right?

000

Rob Crypt @robcryptx.bsky.social · 03/01/2025

so basically every series the traitors say "we can't murder this person because they voted for me, so if they're gone it'll bring attention to me" but also say "if we murder this person everyone will look at this other person who voted for them"
