10mph? Was it uphill? A club run would normally be closer to 20mph. Were there no straights where you could pass? Bunching like that does make it easier for drivers to overtake than when they’re in a line. If not, it’s rude not to pull in from time to time.

It’s desperately embarrassing to share à surname with this clown. I hope we’re not distantly related but perhaps several generations ago an ancestor married his cousin, was cast out of the family, moved to Essex and their offspring have continued the custom to this day. It’s the only explanation.
