there's this one scammer that's been targeting me for about six months now. they always want me to pay them to book me on the Chris Voss show??????? they even have my phone number and have an actual person call me sometimes. their latest attempt features an AI-written poem titled "The Ancient Edge"

they keep saying "AI will do your research for you!" but it's not just a matter of time, it's a matter of understanding whatever it is you're researching. whether it's an old murder you're trying to solve or what hotel to book for vacation, you want to know WHY you're arriving at your answer

i feel like when the google AI overview is correct, it gives you a bunch of bullshit as the top search results. but when it's incorrect, it's just like "FINE here's what this search would have retrieved ten years ago. you got the necessary wikipedia are you happy now"
