Realised I never posted this Rivendell drawing I did from my Lord of the Rings phase last year.
a black and white drawing of a grand house built against a cliff with waterfalls, some blue colour was added for added lighting and to suggest evening.

why is it with neurotypicals that when I avoid making phone calls, I'm "terrible at keeping in touch," but when I text regularly & they never text me back, it's a perfectly normal/acceptable preference to hate texting?!

I will never come to terms with the fact that there are an odd number of days in a week. if you want to do a routine "every other day" you either have to do it Mon/Wed/Fri or Tues/Thurs/Sat/Sun, which is not EVEN or EQUAL and that is JUST. NOT. GOOD!

sometimes I look at my dog (who's been chomping a toy for ten minutes straight) and think, "I KNOW how smart you are — why do you DO that?!" and sometimes my dog looks at me (who's been staring at the small black rectangle in my hand for ten minutes straight) and thinks the exact same thing, I bet

folks who keep a list/tally of books read every year — do you count novellas, graphic novels, and children's books as one book, or half? (it feels unmathematical to count short things as a whole book, but I also love novellas/GNs novels/children's books A LOT and don't want to disrespect them!)

the six heroines of Jane Austen's novels: a bored/depressed Anne Elliott in a bonnet, a terrified Catherine Morland pulling covers up to her nose, a pissed off Elinor Dashwood next to a weeping Marianne, an Elizabeth Bennett with her bonnet blown off in the wind, a scheming Emma Woodhouse sitting in the dark, and for Fanny Price an empty box with just a forehead and eyes peeping out from the bottom left corner
