Played the Create mod while on a Minecraft survival server with friends and I gotta say, I was not expecting to be so immersed in making machines

The Squeakuel

4 panel comic in which an offscreen chef tries to slip diarrhea into a customer's burger by adding it to various parts of the meal including the lettuce, the bun, the sesame seeds, and then the plate it's served on. When questioned on this, the chef stoically responds, "Everyone is going to eat diarrhea in 10 years"

I swear, why do some games require you to make an account to play something offline. That's just so backwards. I miss when all you had to do was buy the thing, install, then play. Thank god indie games are still like that

Lost a lot of motivation, kinda just been chillin. Honestly, I see it more as a rest period. Did too much too fast, things happened too much too fast too. Need to slow down and breathe I'll think of what to do some other day. Right now, I need to catch up on my sleep

Welp I guess they're banning Discord for everyone in my country now. Me, a 25 year old man, affected by something that I never consented to, unable to communicate with the communities I've so lovingly joined to play videogames and share art with. This isn't making anyone safe. It's isolating adults

I'll be looking for a job starting next month, so if anyone knows any studio that wants to adopt little ol' me 🥹 I'm available from October 5th for 2D animation, characters, layout, FX, full time remote.

Thinking about portal 2

GLaDOS is literally the funniest character ever. Her arc culminates in her saying "I hate you so much it's not even with the trouble of killing you, so just fucking LEAVE. And on your way out heres a full choir to sing 'Goodbye My Datling', an Aria I wrote in Italian about how I love you and want you to be safe, which mentions you by name. Don't read into it. Get the fuck out. And here, something to remember me by: a box with a heart on it. Leave." to a wonan who has literally never responded to anything she's ever said

That being said I think Noelle will have the Freedom motif if we decide to back away at the very last minute in the Weird Route. Wouldn't that be fun, fun

You know, a really creepy idea for the ending of Deltarune's Weird Route would be if Kris and Noelle decided to play the "good ending" screen at the very end while exploring the code, fulfilling the prophecy as Toby intended regardless of the path taken.

I cannot stress enough: the AI bubble has already popped it is just being kept on life support by corporations trying to squeeze even a dollar more out of their shit investment, and tech bros doing the same before abandoning their shit company startups. keep hating on AI, you're winning

Crazy theory, but what if the Knight is nobody we've met/known yet? Mind you, the Knight shapeshifts. It's turned into a bird, its bat can become a sword, it turns 9s to 0s. They can literally be anyone #deltarune

Superhero idea: Self-care shapeshifters who can turn into any object they want, but the quality of what they shapeshift into is dependent on their quality of health and mental stability. Weakness being laziness

Finally being able to collab with other creators is a lot more fun than I imagined. Played a round of Peak with a dozen people and it was so chaotic, things broke, everything was laggy, and most of us didn't make it to the end, but it was the funniest thing ever

The app I used to give her motion is PNGTuber Plus by kaiakairos. It's something that I've used before for animations and I genuinely like the way it turned out. Struggled a little bit doing the linking between each sprite, but we got there in the end.

I feel like the next new trend should just be to make bad art. Like unapologetically bad, messy, or just outright chaotic. Or something that looks bad on the surface, but has deeper meaning behind it or making sounds that don't mix well sound good. Full on experimental era again.

RikuMakesArt 🔞 @rikumakesart.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

I don't draw often, but I'm constantly noting down what I can for Rika's new designs. I'll see if I can get some tips from people who draw cyberpunk character designs and integrate it to Rika's when I have the time. Really need a more solid look for her if she's to be a proper VTuber
