Huge thank you to Omaha Performing Arts for the invitation to see Hamilton last night! It was my first time ever seeing the show and I enjoyed it! ASL interpreters were acquired. There will be an ASL day of sorts where they will have interpreters already for the 2pm show this Saturday.

Were there ASL interpreters at #HandsOff? No. Not for lack of trying, but frustrating nonetheless. Were deaf and disabled people mentioned at all when speakers and posters talked about issues? Also no. Except for a one time tiny, small mention of special needs children, no.

In 1993, alt text was created to load in the place of the image. Either because someone was using a text-based browser or there was too much lag or the image never loaded at all. The text entered into the alt attribute loads for the user in the place of the image.

Not sure how much you know about HTML so I don't want to come across as a jerk. Just there are basics. So the "alt" attribute only works on a few tags and they all have to have images. This is because that's the whole point of alt text since 1993.

I thought Simon would get better about eating & getting back on the bed once he got his pain shot. Nope. Zane hasn't been eating as much even more so now. Simon dropped weight to 7.3 from 7.7 and I can't get either of them to eat much no matter what I buy for them.
