The thing is, I would actually be so happy for the fact FNaF managed to make it into Fortnite, if all of the genAI shit wasn’t happening, and if Scott himself wasn’t such a piece of shit. I do owe a lot to FNaF for giving my YouTube a kick start, and I genuinely enjoy the story and lore.

A review for Aniimo on Steam by the user, reading:

I was really so excited to give this a go because it looked like a cool Pokemon inspired game. But all of my interest for this has flown out the window because the devs LIED about not using generative AI in this game, when that is far from the truth. Taking a closer look at loading screens and concept art, there have been objects warping into each other and inconsistencies that make zero sense. Human artists don't do this, they plan things out.

I was really getting into the game too, but I cannot forgive using a slop machine that relies on stealing from other artists in order to "create" things, and it's downright shameful the devs lied about this and didn't put an AI generated content disclosure of the Steam page. When you use generative AI, you are telling your consumers that you don't care about your product enough to make any actual effort, and you'd rather a machine do it for you by stealing from artists who worked for YEARS to hone their skill. Yes, the use of generative AI is enough for me to give your game a negative review, because it shows you are cheap, lazy, and have no passion for your own project. ESPECIALLY when you lie about not using it.

And if anyone thinks I'm making this up, I implore you to view this discussion that provides plenty of images from the game showing clear signs of gen AI usage.
