The rise of AI generated slop has made it so hard to find authentic independent made short films. Saw a thumbnail for an interesting looking horror short about a mimic, but a look through the description showed it was all generated by AI. I advise avoiding the channel The Noctuary.

Watched Malignant last night while I was working on art, and I was pleasantly surprised by the twist of this movie. The general plot had me invested and when all was revealed, that was when everything got absolutely gorey, and I loved every second of it.

Watched “The Devil’s Mouth” while drawing. It’s a pretty standard survival horror movie about a shark that made it into a freshwater cave system and these unlucky young adults got caught up in the mess. Good acting, interesting enough story. But it’s another “vicious evil shark” movie.

Genuinely pisses me off every time this happens, and it solidifies my first impression of new indie developers.

I’d recommend the “My Time at” series. I haven’t played Portia, but I have been playing Sandrock because my brother gave me his spare code, and it’s such a fun experience. Uniquely designed characters with shape language, a relationship system, yes even romance/marriage, and good gameplay.

What looked like it was gonna be a cute, Animal Crossing type cozy game for PC, turned out to be a poorly ported mobile app, that uses generative AI for voices and artwork in the game, and doesn’t disclose this on the Steam store page, like it’s required to.

“What was your biggest impact on the Internet?” I created The Vicious Cycle of FNaF in October of 2014, with my collaborative partner, Joosh, using Gmod. All I had was a Toshiba laptop, and VEGAS Movie Studio 13 that I bought with my very first paycheck from my first job to edit the video.

I love Jenna Ortega as an actress, but oh my god, this movie was so freaking weird. Like, the message is about the consequences of abusing power and wealth, it’s just presented in a very odd storyline. It’s a decent film but not something I’d gas up to my friends.

Watched a movie called “Beezel” today. I want to say the start and second half of the movie were the best. I was really impressed with the horror vibe it was going for, and Naomi’s acting was amazing. But the last 37-ish minutes were not so great and I didn’t care for how it ended.

This is meant to be Erwin after the events of AoT (and he survived the injury the Beast Titan inflicted on him due to Rilee’s extensive care.) he has a mechanical right arm and heavy scarring on his abdomen where he was impaled with projectile rocks.

His outfits mainly consist of muted/brown tones with articles of clothing such as vests, suits, and two shirtless options with pants.

Just finished this movie and it struck me in the heart. The premise is about a nonverbal autistic boy who comes across a story about a lonely monster called “Larry”, and the more of his story is read, the more Larry is able to come into the world through “windows” or an electronic screen.

This mod from simkatu is a freaking godsend. I’ve always struggled with keeping infants happy in their crib if their parents are still asleep. They just lay there looking bored and helpless or cry. This mod lets them play with toys in their inventory while in a crib or high chair. #TheSims4

Yesterday I watched a film called “Megan is Missing” hearing about it through a horror movie curator I follow. It’s kinda slow at the start and the acting isn’t the best, but the last 22 minutes of the movie are extremely hard to watch. It’s actually nauseating and uncomfortable. 🧵

I think it’s incredibly obvious the next pack for TS4 is gonna be based around dragons. There are a lot of hints in the BB stuff from Enchanted by Nature. And the dragon toys for kids look EXACTLY like the dragons from the Makin Magic dragons from TS1.

Yesterday I watched a 2014 horror movie called “Clown” and I had low expectations because it’s an Eli Roth film, and after what I saw with “Thanksgiving” I was expecting a disaster. It does have a lower budget, but it was actually a good movie, might be one of Eli Roth’s better horror films.

Finally got all achievements in Oblivion Remastered. I was so angry to find out this was a missable achievement and I found out too late into the quest line. Now I can freely use console commands without achievement penalty.
