I've had multiple letters and leaflets from Mr Farage, he seems very concerned I may not vote for him. I wonder however why he didn't answer any of my emails over the last two years?

Labour's red lines won't last forever. When they go, Freedom of Movement of People comes back onto the table. Millions of lives become simpler overnight. Less paperwork. Less bureaucracy. More opportunity. Life between the UK and Europe starts working again.

Farage plans to ditch workers’ rights, cut the NMW, scrap the Equality Act, legalise discrimination, take us out of the ECHR and have a deregulation bonanza to remove our protections and make it easier to exploit and endanger us… for profit. He couldn’t give a shit about working people.

In nearly 40 years working I had some useless bosses. Sometimes, however we had a good team underneath & we were able to deliver very successful projects despite the fool in charge. Other times we had people who wanted to politically undermine the boss for their own gain & nothing useful got done.

Brexit ‘no mates’ Britain still sitting in a sulk outside the room because yet another prime minister doesn’t have the courage to say how geopolitically insane and economically illiterate this is. Or admit the lies they’ve all told about immigration and freedom of movement. What failure.

Anyone else getting loads of leaflets/direct letters from Reform UK. They must be spending a fortune (Where do they get the money from?) Or maybe they are just really concerned I may not vote for them? I wonder what gave them that idea? Maybe Farage as my MP has read some of my e-mails after all?

What a spectacle of incoherence. Reform’s Welsh leader promises not to go down the NHS/insurance route…while Farage keeps that option open for the rest of us. Probably because he’s already committed to selling us out. Corruption and betrayal nailed on with this lot. www.politico.eu/article/uk-n...

We don’t have a functioning democracy when the people who lied to our faces to ‘get Brexit done’ are never held to account for the damage they’ve caused… and, worse still, are rewarded for life, for cynically or moronically selling our country out. They deserve nothing but our contempt. Forever.

And definitely not to lobby for crypto or fossil fuels or to have first dibs on the firesale of British assets (eg the NHS) that Farage is bartering for power. FFS wake up UK.

It's so sad, I was talking to someone today who's very angry about a local issue, they're blaming the Government, suggesting if Reform was in charge it would be fixed, completely oblivious to the fact that they only have this issue in the first place as a direct consequence of Brexit!

Minority representation on TV causes outrage

There has been widespread support for prominent Reform MP
Sarah Pochin after she complained about the over-representation of minorities on television.
Said one angry viewer, "She's right. Every time you turn on the telly there's another Reform MP being interviewed by Laura Kuenssberg."
She added, "I respect their way of life and their strange customs, but Reform MPs comprise only 0.7 percent of the House of Commons. Yet Nigel Farage is on Question Time more than Fiona Bruce."
"I'm not prejudiced. Some of my best friends are swivel-eyed loons, but enough is enough.
There are too many people with angry red faces on television.”

Don't mean to single out Nick Ferrari specifically but this sums up the problem with our mainstream media at the moment. Rather than simply reporting the facts about what's happened the most important thing to them is that whatever they say presents their own political viewpoint in the best light.

Also on @mrjamesob.bsky.social podcast "Everybody knows we have too much debt." Nobody challenged this. All money was originally created by the Gov. "Gov. debt" is another name for the money put into the economy which now exists as private wealth. If there was no Debt there would be no money supply.

I listened to @mrjamesob.bsky.social daily podcast from @lbc.co.uk . The top 1% pay 33% of the tax, that sounds unfair but I'm amazed no one asked "Do the top 1% have 33% of the income" If so 33% of the tax seems quite fair, if they don't not so much, but if they've more than 33% of the income...

Not surprising at all. 16M people voted against leaving the EU, OK slightly more voted for, but I doubt many of the 'remain voters' have since been persuaded they were wrong and for nearly ten years all the main parties have completely ignored them.

Many pundits today are pushing the line that everyone who protests the genocide in Gaza is basically either antisemitic or tolerant of antisemitism. But isn't that precisely the conflation of the actions of the Israeli gov't with all Jewish people, which is at the heart of this wave of antisemitism?

Every election is a sort of collective entrance exam into the future. It occasionally happens that populations fail the exam. But for the US to fail essentially a resit of its 2016 exam, featuring the same questions, having studied the answers for eight years, is much rarer and pretty unforgivable.

When Farage makes such claims people should recall that this is exactly how the Brexiters dismissed the NI border issue pre-referendum. 'Oh it will be easy, nothing will change, don't forget there's a CTA' etc. It then became maybe the central & still enduring problem for delivering Brexit.
