Update, nevermind. I didn’t get much sleep atm, and with a new mattress on the way today I’ll have my hands full.

Ribbon Vale ⭐🎀 🏳️‍⚧️ @ribbonteadream.eurosky.social · 29/09/2026

Starting tomorrow I will be doing a stream test at 7AM PST! Namely to test how I feel, and if this helps bring in new viewers.

@stoat.chat I noticed the iOS download via TestFlight says “this beta isn’t accepting any new testers right now”, any idea on when that might be fixed?

Due to getting up super early for a delivery for Ribbonmom + the fact trolls are running amok since today is 9/11 and I do not have the patience for that, today's stream has been canceled. I'm sorry about this. But I hope to make up for it with the next schedule.

All new #CelestiaCalendar for this week! Monday streams are temporarily moved to thursday atm due to aching.

To add on: Where I decided to nope the hell out is the founder having full on AI psychosis. And seeing other people share in it just...gives me disgusting vibes.

Even if you're just a viewer and not a streamer, tell them through metrics that you reject AI: Twitch.tv > Settings > Security and Privacy > Training for Generative AI: OFF

Oh and the velora founder vented to me unprompted so uh..that was something. Instead of venting to anyone else

I'd argue that, for the metrics, it's vastly MORE important that viewers turn this off. There's more viewers than streamers, so even if every streamer turned this off, if viewers don't, the executives can still claim that "most users don't care" and cram it down our throats even harder. Opt out.

Holy, I am going through looking at the Velora CEO's webpage and whatnot, and it's just genAI all the way down. He is selling his Tweets on Amazon. He is selling genAI colouring books. His album covers look to be genAI. Their Bsky feed has a ton of genAI. Genuinely, Velora.tv is NOT the site.

"Always your chaotic stargazer!" Hello! I'm ribbon vale, the owner of the celestia library, and chaotically chill magical girl librarian cabbit! Sit down, stay awhile, enjoy the fun times and the chaos! For the stream schedule, please check #CelestiaCalendar. Oshi marks: 🎀⭐

Ribbon is standing against a white bordered background that's out of focus, which has some stars and a yellow to light blue gradient.

Above the blurry background is the text "Forever your stargazer, your cabbit, your chaos, aboard the celestia library." Along with her signature (Ribbon Vale)

Okay so I canceled the next appointment to avoid getting billed out the wazoo. But at very least it does make me consider having a financial cushion. So if I do a subathon it'll be for that.

Welp. I'm debating having a subathon to pay for dental work if I want to keep things in order.. or at the very least to have a financial cushion.

100% overblown for that timeframe. It happens in specific cases and a minority of again specific discs are more prone. I've got anime discs that are first year DVDs running fine, Mega CDs from 92-94 that are still spotless, and globs of PS1, PS2, and everything in between and after with no issues.

Thanks for hanging out! Sadly multistreaming to youtube isn't gonna work out for now unless I upgrade to a CPU with integrated graphics, OR a bigger motherboard.

No stream today, BUT... As of a few months ago, twitch finally allows combining chats. So you can combine twitch and YouTube among others. Previously they'd warn and suspend you for it. So going forward my streams will be on twitch AND YouTube in an attempt to broaden out. <3
