I've realized something! I have a LOT of lore, thanks to one of my mods writing it for me (thank you rosa <3). So my hook as it were IS the lore! Thus, going forward, I'll still be myself on stream, HOWEVER.. I will be playing up the library aspects.

BIG NEWS FROM OXY- Just kidding about that part. What’s not a joke however is that my 2D model, thanks to my mod Rosa, is now 100% fully funded! This now means I can begin to save my twitch payouts for the foreseeable future and put them towards redebut stuff! I’m hyped <3

Update, nevermind. I didn’t get much sleep atm, and with a new mattress on the way today I’ll have my hands full.

Starting tomorrow I will be doing a stream test at 7AM PST! Namely to test how I feel, and if this helps bring in new viewers.

@stoat.chat I noticed the iOS download via TestFlight says “this beta isn’t accepting any new testers right now”, any idea on when that might be fixed?

Due to getting up super early for a delivery for Ribbonmom + the fact trolls are running amok since today is 9/11 and I do not have the patience for that, today's stream has been canceled. I'm sorry about this. But I hope to make up for it with the next schedule.

All new #CelestiaCalendar for this week! Monday streams are temporarily moved to thursday atm due to aching.

This week's schedule! Wednesday is more Euro Truck Sim, Thursday is 7 Days To Die, and Friday is the usual grabbag!

To add on: Where I decided to nope the hell out is the founder having full on AI psychosis. And seeing other people share in it just...gives me disgusting vibes.

Even if you're just a viewer and not a streamer, tell them through metrics that you reject AI: Twitch.tv > Settings > Security and Privacy > Training for Generative AI: OFF

I actively avoid genAI in all my games! None are set for release yet, but I am working on two with my small team: Turpentine Research Club and Majokko Dash!! TRC is a gritty, sci fi adventure RPG. While majokko dash!! is a magical girl RPG.

For context, I was in DMs with him trying to troubleshoot issues with velora's backend not cooperating. Then he just..vented to me during it. Wild.

Oh and the velora founder vented to me unprompted so uh..that was something. Instead of venting to anyone else

I'd argue that, for the metrics, it's vastly MORE important that viewers turn this off. There's more viewers than streamers, so even if every streamer turned this off, if viewers don't, the executives can still claim that "most users don't care" and cram it down our throats even harder. Opt out.

Agreed. Claude code and other tools are far more likely to commit mistakes than a normal human.

Yeah. What threw me for a loop was sage. I initially thought it was a simple bot, but the daughter shit just irked me. I don't even care if it's being run locally, you're still wasting your own energy on it and most people don't consent to whatever sage might do with their data

Ribbon Vale ⭐🎀 🏳️‍⚧️ @ribbonteadream.eurosky.social · 17/08/2026

Yeah, I briefly streamed there a small handful of times before I stopped multistreaming. Since then I have not touched velora at all. I will only keep my account there to prevent anyone from impersonating me but that's it.

Ribbon Vale ⭐🎀 🏳️‍⚧️ @ribbonteadream.eurosky.social · 17/08/2026

My time with velora is over effective immediately. I will no longer be streaming there.

Holy, I am going through looking at the Velora CEO's webpage and whatnot, and it's just genAI all the way down. He is selling his Tweets on Amazon. He is selling genAI colouring books. His album covers look to be genAI. Their Bsky feed has a ton of genAI. Genuinely, Velora.tv is NOT the site.

"Always your chaotic stargazer!" Hello! I'm ribbon vale, the owner of the celestia library, and chaotically chill magical girl librarian cabbit! Sit down, stay awhile, enjoy the fun times and the chaos! For the stream schedule, please check #CelestiaCalendar. Oshi marks: 🎀⭐
