Being an editor with ADHD can present challenges! Today, my recalcitrant brain is fighting me, and I'm struggling to focus. My solution? Do less intensive work like answer emails and admin tasks to give my brain a chance to transition into work. Now I'm almost ready to begin today's editing work.

If you haven't participated in #ArtAdventCalendar yet, this is the perfect year to start and help get it known on Bluesky. I occasionally post some of my art, but my favourite part of this annual event is following other people's posts and seeing the incredible art that we are creating.

I love it when I find new resources for my work - even though I won't use this often, I've added it to my Guidelines folder so it's ready when I need it.

Now that #ACESVCON23 is finished, it's time to consider my key takeaways. One of them is that I need to learn about AI. I have ethical concerns about it, but that doesn't mean I can ignore it. I also see its value and need to look at that as well. How are you using AI in your editing and writing?

Hi everyone! I've had this account for a while now, but haven't posted anything - I have been off social media for so long that it's going to take me some time to get used to posting again. I'm looking forward to connecting with writers and editors on a new platform.
