I've been saying that he'd do this. Just declare "Greenland's a state" in public, to the applause of his idiot cult, and... what do we do about it? He's going to tell Google to change their maps again, call Greenland part of the US, and what're they gonna do? Not? Just because it's false?

Just had the realization that I've been claiming free weekly games from the Epic Games site for near eight years now, and I don't think I've installed the launcher even once. Kind of wild they've successfully built the compulsive behavior into me without getting any money out of me for it.

Conspiracy Theory I only half-believe: This is about AI companies evading legal accountability. As in "Artificial" means man-made. So if AI commits a crime or something, "man," either user or software engineers, is therefore legally responsible. That or he just prefers words with fewer syllables.

I did. It's basically summarizing two papers from 2018 (implying them to be "recent" and "new"), which precedes the launch ChatGPT and so on, by four years. So I stand by my claim that they're conflating ProcGen with the modern understanding of "AI" dishonestly.

I guess I'm saying that Tim Scott's "your wood is wet" line here isn't just him misspeaking, as in stumbling over a word. It's him trying to seem less like the categorical weirdo he is, but he's such a weirdo that all he can do is make himself seem weirder.

Reminds me of when I was stuck working for a literal conman through a temp agency (long story) he would end up saying nonsense like this too, and for the same reason. For example, instead of describing bribes as "lining pockets" or "greasing palms," he'd say he was "greasing pockets."

Rex Mundane @rexmundane.itch.io · 12/09/2026
"Your wood is wet" is one of those not-really-a-saying things people who don't talk to other human beings end up saying in order to seem normal. Like it has the shape of a folksy aphorism, but has no clear meaning. Implies context or cultural connection where none exists. Its as though AI wrote it.

"Procedural Generation" has been around for decades, and is a different thing than what everyone means by "AI" at this point in time, and it's just absurd to think that you don't know that. Also, there's multiple games about making your own Mario levels. I don't think we're running out, guys.

Whoever told your team that "Republicans are good and correct" is a winning message for a Democrat? Should probably stop giving them your money and attention. At least until they can point to an example of it ever working. Because right now its looking more like Paxton paid you off to take a dive.

Far be it for me to tell whatever an "Opinion Journalist" is how to do her job. However, this ding-dong's argument seems to be that deregulating autonomous cars would somehow eliminate car accident fatalities entirely. Feels like the kind of claim a "Journalist" might want to interrogate further.
