A year ago, my sister started her short time in hospice. I drew this for her in her room. Mom couldn't be there, as she was bed bound in palliative care at a nursing home.

Grief never ends, it just changes shape. Sometimes it quiets and softens. It's a loud grief week for me, and I'm taking a crycation so I don't have to struggle through work and grief and flashbacks and everything in between while at work.

My mom's fading light rallied to worry and comfort and mourn with us through my sister's days in hospice and her passing. Not long after, her memories faded again, and she forgot what happened to Ginger. Less that 2 months later, she passed.

I think the obsession with the Oxford comma is pedantic and over hyped, especially since these supposed champions of clarity rarely embrace the semi-colon with such fervor. I think context clues and better sentence construction can clear up most confusion examples from the Oxford comma obsessives.
