I like seeing the argument "without AI these ports would not exist" and here's my actual response: I actually would rather not see them exist for an extremely simple reason: They're absolutely USELESS. And I would say that emulation has always allowed similar improvements the entire time.

I've seen a lot of debate on the Zelda remake adding a feature telling you where to go. Honestly I like the change. Not because I don't know where to go in the moment, but because I always would forget if I put the game down for longer than a few days lol

I seriously doubt that it's AI. Nintendo has been explicitly against using AI as far as I've seen, and if they were using it I assume that'd be something they announce pretty loudly to try and get money from shareholders.

Actually, Id argue if I told the average Joe that I was selling them the license to a game THAT would make them think they control the only copy! Wording it as owning the licence to a game sounds closer to owning an IP or something Buying a copy of a game digital or not should mean you own that copy

There's something great about the fact that all the episodes are on YouTube for free and most free streaming platforms have this show. It's nice that kids have a fun little intro to Sonic that way.

I still think it's absolutely criminal that we had to wait for homebrew devs to bring Virtual Boy games to 3DS. Literally the only system ever able to improve on the experience out the gate and they never made it happen themselves

That could actually benefit them some with doing rereleases and such. Depending on the cost I could see it happening. I'm not sure how it works with using the Sim name though, unless that's considered a totally separated thing from the other Sims properties

I think that's true no matter what part of Sony you're talking about. Their games side neglects their current IP pool and their film side has no patience or understanding of how to get people attached to characters (just look at what they keep doing with the Spider-Man stuff they have).

Not having seen the video yet, I wonder if this might force them to start requiring a light manual with each game to fill the space. I cant see them making the cases smaller since it prevents theft, and it may be cheapest to include a little bifold with some basic safety info to fill the space.

I'm glad to see Dragon Hopper and Zero Racers finally out. After the leaks happened in 2020 and they weren't there, I was almost sure we'd never see D-Hopper again, and I honestly thought Zero Racers was just a tech demo till now lol. Love to see that Nintendo hangs on to unreleased stuff like this.
