It's not just Taco Bell. Taylor Farms supplies Ralphs, Gelson's, Vallarta, Bristol Farms, McDonald's, Chipotle, Subway, Burger King, the grocery stores in the screenshot, and more. This isn't their first food safety issue. They were the cause of the recent major E. Coli outbreak. They are unsafe.

FDA finds little handwashing, dirty equipment at McDonald's supplier linked to E. coli outbreak
By Alexander Tin
Updated on: January 10, 2025 / 9:39 PM EST / CBS News

WASHINGTON, Feb. 11, 2017 Two Taylor Farms establishments, located in Dallas, Texas and in Tracy, California, and headquartered in Salinas, California, are recalling approximately 6,630 pounds of chicken and pork salad products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes (Lm), the U.S. Department of Agricultures Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today

Last Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Labor announced that Taylor Farms New Jersey, a vegetable processing subsidiary of bagged salad maker Taylor Farms, faces more than $1 million in fines following an inspection triggered by a workplace fatality in Swedesboro, New Jersey.

The investigation began in May 2025 after a worker was killed while cleaning a machine, and OSHA inspectors found 16 willful and repeated safety violations related to a lack of lockout/tagout procedures and training during sanitation activities. The safety agency proposed $1,125,484 in citations.

Reimagined concepts of the Wizard of Oz characters. Five characters are shown. In the middle is a young girl wearing a white button-up and a blue suspender skirt, holding a gun in one hand and a basket of ammo in the other. Next to her is a Cane Corso dog with a collar that says "Toto." To the left is a tall, knife-wielding man dressed in a ragged, bullet-worn suit and fedora, a crow with a knife in its beak sitting on his shoulder. To the right is a man dressed smartly in a vest and mask, with prosthetic arms and one prosthetic leg, an axe on his belt and a can of gasoline beside him. In the back is a huge male brute in a vest with a bearded face and top-knot, wearing knuckle rings on his fists.

A massive, hissing pale snake adorned in gaudy golden jewelry on its tail and head. Red feathers decorate its neck

A painted illustration of a vanity table littered with various feminine products, such as make up, jewelry and lotions. Within the vanity table's mirror, a ghastly being with a skull-like face, blazing blue lights for eyes and yellow hair wrapped in hair rollers reaches out towards an unseen individual who has their hands up defensively.

A fantastical creature resembling a mix of a frogmouth bird with a frog. It is wingless, has frog-like legs, is muddy in color and has red pustules on its back

Art commissions are really cool. Something I appreciated @aromiekim.bsky.social would do when I asked for my profile picture is she would send concept/quick rough drawings of what she was thinking to help make sure the drawing was in the direction I was looking for.

From Hunter S. Thompson’s ESPN page 2 column one week after 9/11.

We are At War now, according to President Bush, and I take him at his word. He also says this War might last for "a very long time."
Generals and military scholars will tell you that eight or 10 years is actually not such a long time in the span of human history - which is no doubt true - but history also tells us that 10 years of martial law and a wartime economy are going to feel like a Lifetime to people who are in their twenties today. The poor bastards of what will forever be known as Generation Z are doomed to be the first generation of Americans who will grow up with a lower standard of living than their parents enjoyed.
That is extremely heavy news, and it will take a while for it to sink in. The 22 babies born in New York City while the World Trade Center burned will never know what they missed. The last half of the 20th century will seem like a wild party for rich kids, compared to what's coming now. The party's over, folks.

Jonathan Joss--voice actor of John Redcorn from King of the Hill, and Ken Hotate from Parks and Rec--was killed in a homophobic hate crime today. I'm so angry.

Statement from Tristan Kern de Gonzales
Husband of Jonathan Joss

My husband Jonathan Joss and I were involved in a shooting while checking the mail at the site of our former home. That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done.

Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic.

When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw.

While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired.

Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life.

Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. We picked Valentines Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future.

He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other.

I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved.

To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family.

My focus now is on protecting Jonathan’s legacy and honoring the life we built together.

If your concern is how someone coped with trauma or how loudly they speak when recounting injustice and being ignored by authorities then you never truly cared about my husband.

Jonathan saved my life. I will carry that forward. I will protect what he built.

Tristan Kern de Gonzales
