It's got some great commentaries on the DVD - one of the funniest moments is when one of the producers said that he got a few letters from people pointing out various inaccuracies, but not one of them counted the *talking dragon* as one - "Good to know we got that part right," he said.

I'm watching the 2008 BBC show Merlin, and thinking, Wow, there's lots of color in the costumes and people are always clean (unless they are actively rolling in dirt), does that make this semi-fantasy series more accurate than most "historical" movies? Suzannah would appreciate it!

No, you're right, it's rice crispies in the USA too! My family only ever uses them to makes rice crispy treats (the cereal mixed with melted marshmallows to make solid bars) and even then only once ever few years, so I often forget them, lol

A month ago, I started a third job (I know, why?!) as an audiobook proofer. And already it's making me a more conscientious narrator! Because seeing all the little mistakes that slip past others makes me more determined to stay alert to all the details in my own manuscripts. Yay for learning!
