I overhauled my newsletter because I read a book about digital minimalism. The funny thing is that I've spent more time with devices, not less, since reading it. But now, when I'm on my phone, iPad, or computer, I do more things that matter to me. I'm writing more! 🎉 It's an incredible feeling.

My version of being a plotter is as follows: 1. Develop a pitch, character sheets, and detailed outline. 2. Feel smug and excited. 3. Draft Chapter 1 with characters you've never met doing things you had no idea would happen. 4. Sob 5. Revise step 1 and repeat until the draft is finished.
