Emotional reactions I want to have while writing/reading certain romance tropes: Second chance → Destroy me or it didn’t happen. Enemies to Lovers → I need to laugh out loud at least twice. These things make a difference for me: - no caffeine after noon - no alcohol - 20 minutes of exercise - stop eating 2 hours before bedtime - downtime on my devices blocks nearly everything at 9:30 pm

I overhauled my newsletter because I read a book about digital minimalism. The funny thing is that I've spent more time with devices, not less, since reading it. But now, when I'm on my phone, iPad, or computer, I do more things that matter to me. I'm writing more! 🎉 It's an incredible feeling.

I enjoy creating fictional towns because settings are my least favorite things to write about. If I can develop them like I do my characters, they're more interesting to me. (And yes, I know actual cities can be characters, but they're not MY characters 😌)
