Now that #TikTok is gone in the U.S., hopefully BlueSky gets a bit more attention and actually pops off. One can hope!

The Jimmy Butler situation with the #MiamiHeat reminds me of Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros.: A great partnership until the end, which was ugly and quickly deteriorated, resulting in Nolan leaving and finally winning his Oscar. Will Jimmy now leave Miami and win a championship?

I know I’m in the minority on this one, but #TheSubstance was pretty awful. Outside of a good Demi Moore performance, this story was a mess and the movie is overly long. I don’t get the hype. My ★½ review on letterboxd: boxd.it/813KvN

A ★½ review of The Substance (2024)

Demi Moore gives a really good performance here! The story is definitely unique and a commentary on how vanity truly drives people insane. Looks ain’t everything! But outside of that, I don’t really g...

#EmiliaPerez is a huge swing and miss, to me. I never got into a groove with the story and the musical numbers — while shot well — are a chore to get through. Stinks that they wasted Zoe Saldaña in this one. My ★½ review on #Letterboxd: boxd.it/7WdJZR

A ★½ review of Emilia Pérez (2024)

“Emilia Pérez” is truly a unique movie musical. I enjoy how some of the numbers are shot, and Zoe Saldaña delivers a good performance! I just…don’t think enough of the musical numbers hit for me. Ther...

#Moana2 smashed the #Thanksgiving Day #boxoffice record with massive $28M nearly DOUBLING previous all-time high of $15M by Frozen 2 in 2019! In fact, it saw the 8th biggest THU gross EVER! 2-day $85.5M start already bigger than entire 5-day opening of first #Moana!

I never expected #Moana2 to have the same charm as the first, but I expected it to at least have charm. The animation is gorgeous and Auliʻi Cravalho delivers a good performance! But the story, music and editing fails this sequel. Moana 2 really misses Lin-Manuel Miranda’s pen, too.

#NowWatching: #Moana2 “Moana” remains my favorite Disney Animated Movie of the past decade, so let’s see if its sequel can produce some magic!

I just got around to watching #DuneProphecy and… Ep 1 didn’t grab me. Outside of the exposition dumps, there wasn’t a storyline that hooked me. They’re planting seeds of mystery with Desmond Hart, but everything else? Eh.. I’ll give it a chance to see if next week is better.

Woke up this morning to check the Netflix press site and -- Looks like they've updated the key art for Season 7! Now, what could Aaravos be doing...? 👀 #TheDragonPrince

I groaned after learning about #GladiatorII. Legacy sequels aren’t always my jam. In this case, it’s been 24 years. But… I have no idea how Ridley Scott kept me engaged in virtually every scene My ★★★★ review on #Letterboxd: boxd.it/7QYTmP

Whether you are watching for the boxing match or not, I’m more so fascinated by how #Netflix can handle the livestream. Millions of people are tuning in. Can Netflix prove they can handle WWE and NFL livestreams (which will be coming soon)? So far, the answer is a resounding “no.” #PaulTyson

It’s taken me years, but I finally started “Star Trek: Discovery.” As someone who’s never watched much Star Trek (outside of the films), I’m hooked! I know I’m only one episode in, but Sonequa Martin-Green is AWESOME here — and Michelle Yeoh?! Let’s go! 👏 Time for Ep. 2…

Nope, don’t like this idea. Here’s to hoping it was a report that leaked intentionally to test the waters because A24’s main draw is that it’s NOT pushing out commercial films. 🤷‍♂️ #A24 #movies

Report: A24 to expand, produce more commercial films

A24 will shift their focus from auteur-driven dramas to action flicks and movies based on existing IP, sources tell The Wrap.
