Everyone’s flipping out about Mamdani taking his oath by swearing on the Quran. In 2006, Keith Ellison did the same; Glenn Beck asked him “prove to me you aren’t working for our enemies.” I showed that clip to students back in 2010, who were APPALLED. How far we’ve fallen in the last 15 years.
