My partners PIP tribunal finally got a response from the government 7 weeks after the deadline and it could take “several months” for the tribunal to actually go ahead. It’ll likely be a year we’ve been fighting this before we get any result. We’re tired, stressed. Just trying to live..

Finally got some acknowledgement from the DWP about my disability support appeal. They are 7 weeks late responding. They had 6 weeks initially if I remember rightly. Meanwhile we are struggling to survive.

DWP has responded to your Personal Independence Payment (PIP) appeal. They should have sent you a copy of their response in the post, unless their response is late and a judge has directed that the appeal can proceed without one. Read their response and send your comments to the tribunal, if you have any.

A tribunal panel made up of a judge, doctor and disability expert will hold a hearing for your appeal. You have told us you do not want to attend so you will receive the decision in the post, after the hearing has taken place. Unfortunately we cannot say how long this will be but it could be several months.

I woke up today hurting in 3 different ways (migraine, knee pain and arm stiff and painful) I had an email that my car insurance will be cancelled unless I can pay £330 because they fucked up my direct debits when my car got written off in April and the next 2 payments are 3x and 2x normal. I hurt

I lost my career, medically. I've been applying for PIP since Feb. I'm currently at the appeal stage and DWP is 3 weeks late responding. I can barely stand for more than a few minutes without being in immense pain and fatigued. It kills my hobbies. Painkillers do nothing. But isn't it just so cool?

Crying in my bedroom because I’m in so much pain I can’t think, feeling tired every day because pain disturbs my sleep, but so do my painkillers. It’s not cool. I can’t even do my hobbies most days, and when I do, it comes at a cost. I did not choose this. I do not want this.
