it was fun to figure out how to build a big ball from recycled pallet wood. I took it out for a mile long roll on the desert to it's assigned location, but every time I stepped away from it, someone would figure it was cool to push, and I'd have to go chase it down to get back #burningman #art

Today's tribute to that thing out on the desert is the 2007 burning man project I called "Global warming" that was a 7' diameter hallow wooden sphere that I eventually painted like a globe prior to rolling it into the blazing fire at the base if the collapsed man. I'm into spheres so #Burningman

Finishing up a small owl, glass mosaic. I will tack fuse it together (the only grout is clear glass frit). It has plenty of personality and will look great as a suncatcher. Used the native pueo markings, they have cool dark lines around the eyes. #glassart #mosaic
