Here's the pre-fab sort of concept you can buy online. Probably not worth the price for what you want but if you're up for a bit more work than just a rack you could fairly easily replicate this concept with some wood and roofing panel.

One day in and suburban NJ is living up to the road standards I expect from it.

Would it be the end of the world for Amtrak to buy a few more dual-mode locomotives so we didn't have to wait over a half hour in New Haven for a power swap? Who's to say.

It's been eight years since I last got to ride with Boston Bike Party, so joining Critical Mass tonight for the memorial ride for Lousia was really nice. So many people turned out and I haven't experienced a large group ride like that in ages.

Many are wearing bike themed or bike event shirts and many bikes have interesting lights and decorations on them.A large crowd of a couple hundred bike riders stand in a parking lot with their bikes. Wire guages! Smaller number means larger size (numbers are a ratio), and AWG 10 is roughly twice the diamater of AWG 16. Also confusingly feeder cable used on shows (colored connections in photo) pass zero and the order of numbers reverses, so in ascending size we use #2, 2/0 (two aught), and 4/0.
