Yes. Some faves of mine not listed in the article are the Sohy (1919) Strohl's Forest symphony (1901) Barraine's Nos. 1 & 2 (1931 & 1938) Smyth's Serenade in D (not a symphony, but a fabulous symphonic work; Brahmsian, but with its own Smyth-y thing). Bonis also has some great symphonic works.

I remember in 2008ish going back to hear one of my old university orchestras play one of Gloria Coates' symphonies. The programme notes described her as the most important women symphonist which I think mostly shows us how much rediscovery of the 19th C women composers there has been since then.

When are these organizations going to be held accountable? The problem is ALWAYS the enablers; in this case, it is systemic organizational tolerance that begins with the conservatories. The classical music scene is a cesspool of misogyny and racism. Read Elayne Jones' Little Lady With a Big Drum.

What the hell, man
An LP vinyl record of Beethoven’s 6th Symphony, The Pastoral, conducted by Otto Klemperer. The bizarre nature of the cover art cannot really be captured in words, but let’s try: it is a photo of a man, on his bare knees, which are spread wide apart, revealing a SUBSTANTIAL bulge in his white brief-style underpants, which are fully visible due to his choice to wear no trousers. He is wearing a fully unbuttoned overshirt with his chest and stomach showing through at the center line, and a hat which appears to be what the English would call a “driving cap.” His head is bowed such that we cannot see any part of his face, only the top of the hat. Between his knees and directly in front of his, uh, package is a small square of what appears to be Astroturf or some other fake grass. In the front left corner of the turf square is what appears to be a tiny rodent of some sort, and the man is reaching for it with intentions unclear. Once again, this album is a recording of a Beethoven symphony, and not one of the weird ones, either! Also, while we’re pointing out odd choices, there is no mention anywhere on the cover of what orchestra might be performing the symphony, as if Klemperer and the bulging man were planning to simply conjure the music themselves, either with or without the assistance of the tiny rodent.
