Was in septic shock and had AMS in March. They didn’t want to do pain meds because of my hypotension. So they did precedex (odd) and ketamine. Ketamine gets 0/10 *s. I woke up one day thinking I was part of Pirates of the Caribbean… What a trip… There will be no more of that…

Made it through another critical illness. Now recovering at home after 18 days in the hospital. I have to follow up with way too many specialists. Currently I can’t even microwave veggies with running out of breath. I hope everyone is doing as well as they can be in these trying times!

Went back to the ER yesterday because I had an allergic reaction. When they took my vitals they were all really elevated. I honestly didn’t feel ill, just extremely itchy from the rash. When the provider saw my vitals, they were concerned and told me to stick around to see if they came down. 1/
