treating my burnout by designing new weird women

The Summer Hikaru Died 🔆 Can’t believe it’s ending this month!!

Hikaru and Yoshiki from the manga The Summer Hikaru Died. They’re in single file, walking swinging their arms while eating a shared ice cream in front of a forest. Hikaru is smiling looking back, and Yoshiki is passive faced but one of his arms looks like it’s reaching out to hold onto Hikaru’s. The sky is bright blue with a heavy warm colour palette. I *think* Retronauts was my first podcast, and I must've started right when it started. I put it on during my first week of graphic design class. Nowadays every youtuber has some "THE ADJECTIVE NOUN OF ZELDA" essay but in the 2000's a lot of retro games were starting to find new life.

One of the things to come from GamerGate was the gamification of torturing real, live women...hounding them out of their homes, making them look over their shoulders for years.
